The kitchen
Named for Emma. Stirred at home.
Hello. I’m Jennifer Foshee — a teacher, and the owner of Emma’s Elderberry, LLC. I have two children. Emma is the reason my husband and I started this.
When Emma began school, she came down with every illness imaginable. After the usual doctor visits and the usual “it’s part of being a kid,” I started reading about elderberries as a kitchen staple.
In July 2024 I made my first batch. Our family became believers in keeping a bottle on the shelf.
What began in our pot now goes to neighbors and to The Market inside Big Door Coffee House. Thank you for buying local and letting a home kitchen keep doing this work.
That school-year line is our family’s story. It is not a clinical study.
